Den Hagg is the first stop of our vacation around Europe. We went to Den Hagg by train directly from Amsterdam internation airport because the airport was connected with the train station. Den hagg is not the captial of Dutch, but it is really a lovely, quiet and small city worth visiting, what's more, the central government, international justice court and parliament of Dutch are all in Den Hagg.

It took us almost 45 minutes to get at Den Hagg and took tram 2 to the homestay where we already booked. The community was very tranquil and few people were walking on the streets in the early morning.

The owner of homestay called Ellen is a very friendly lady. She told us she was fifty plus years old and had a 18-year-old son but had been divorced for thirteen years. She worked in national government, but she was fired serval years ago. She raised two cats and one dog and loved the black cat most. 80 percent of her current income was from Airbnb and the rest was from she earned from flower  arrangement for tourists. Her dream in the future was to go to London to see her son and travel around the world.

Our room was bright and decorated very elaborately with a small door connected into the yard.

The yard was planted some trees, which looked as if a small garden.

Ellen liked reading very much, epecially novels, traveling.

She introduced her favourite book named Wild Swan written by Chinese. I happened to read it before we traveled. The book was about the writter family's stories happened in old times of China including her grandparents, her parents and herself. Ellen was so kind that she recommended local main attractions before we came to her house. Moreover, she gave us local map and some tourism brochures as soon as we arrived. Furthermore, she cooked traditional holland breakfast for us in the following morning.

Den Hagg is not big enough to visit all the main attractions in a day. Most of attractions are located around Knight Square.

All the district flags were hung highly along a small lake beside Parliament.

Parliament has four traditional paralleling buildings and the area around Parliament is a very popular site for local people and tourists to have a nice walk.

Mauritshuis Museum is just adjacent to Parliament. It is worth visiting because it is not only royal picture gallery but also it has a lot of top most world-famous paintings inside.

All the tourists were warm-welcomed firstly and instructed to download the museum APP so as that they could learn detailed introductions of each piece of artwork in the modern reception hall underground.

Another world-famous painting was called the pretty girl in pearl earrings/戴珍珠耳环的少女.

The studio on the second floor was designed to introduce more detailed stories backstage and how to frame these world-famous paintings.

It was nice to have our lunch outdoors just like most of local people.

It was so sweet to walk inside the pedestrain street that people didn't worry about the rainy weather at all.

The international justice court is settled inside the Royal Palace.

We happened to witness local couple were holding their wedding party in the front of the Royal Palace. They were very happy to take photos with us and we presented the best wish to them to congratulate their wedding.

We came to Scheveningen beach in the afternoon, where local people would like to stay on weekends.

Some kids were still running bravely in the sea even though the ocean was a little cold in the summer.

We walked slowly to the top of hill beside the beach of Scheveningen, where we could overlook Den Hagg very well.

We slept for some hours before we went out again to have our dinner at night. We found the daily food such as milk, friuts and bread was very cheap in supermarket.

The King of Dutch delivers his new year's speech every year here in Den Hagg.

It seemed as if all local people gathered to have their dinner around the square, of which I am not sure the name. We selected one table to have our dinner in the crowded people.

There are a lot of bars alongside the streets to satisfy local people's night entertainment life.

We traveled to Amsterdam by train after our Holland breakfast in the following morning.
