Japan has been top 1 country of Suzhou international tourism marketing for over 20 years, but it has been decreasing dramatically since five years ago because the relationship between Japan and China is being deteriorated.

We received fifteen Japanese travel agencies sponsored by Tokyo office from China National Tourism Administration last week in order to recovery Japan inbound market.

We arranged them to visit delicate but small and not well-known classical gardens including the Mountain Villa Embracing Beauty and the Garden of Cultivation.

The Mountain Villa Embracing Beauty is one of the UNESCO world cultural heritage listed sites which is famous for the typical Taihu stones. Even though it is not real mountain, it makes you feel you are really walking in the natural mountain when you are in the stones.

Many FIT foreign tourists prefer to visit this garden because it is very quiet.

What's more, the garden is next to Suzhou Embroidery research institution, where a lot of incredible embroideries are collected and exhibited.

The talented artisans are sewing the amazing embroideries on the slender silk. 

You can't imagine the masterpiece of grand embroideries is often taken one or two years to be made by some of intelligent artisans.

We walked to the Garden of Cultivation, which is hidden in the deep lane of Suzhou. They were strong interested in natural local lifestyle on the way to the garden. 

The garden is well popular by local people, who like drinking together with their friends. 

Actually, the garden is well-known for one of number 1 scholars, whose great grandparents was Mr. Wen Zhengming in Ming dynasty.

They enjoyed Kuqu opera on Pingjiang road at night, which is the outstanding representative of abundant intangible cultural heritages of Suhzou. 

We visited Dongshan the following morning, which is one of beautifu Taihu scenic areas.

Luxiang old village has been preserved welll since it was built many years ago. Local people are still living in the village.

The small river is connecting to Taihu lake, which was one of the most important transportation areas in old times. 

It happened to be the right season to taste the local sweet loquat.

We didn't arrange the most popular gardens, on the contrary, we led them to discovery authentic experience Suhzhou. A small change makes big difference. Each travel agency had a deep impression on rich culture, beautiful nature and friendly people of Suzhou, even though they spent one day and one night in Suzhou.
