I decide to have a quiet short trip with my family around Suzhou today in case there always has heavy trafic everywhere during public holidays. We go to National Forest & wetland of Xiaodian lake, which is situated at the south of old Suzhou and takes about forty minutes from downtown of Suzhou.

Few local peope know about Xiaodian Lake, let alone visitors from other cities. Even though today is the second day of Tomb-sweeping holidays, it is also very tranquil and peaceful inside. We look around and find a good-view space to settle our tent. We walk around slowly and read book all the afternoon, trying to have a real realaxing for ourselves.

The recommended itinerary: Take a boat trip at first, it almost takes twenty minutes. Have an hour walking around and then find a local restaurant to have the lunch. Afterwards, have a cat nap and select one book to read quietly. That's it!
