Even though Phnom Penh is the capital of Cambodia, it is not the tourist destination and  a few people would like to stay longer than one night in Phnom Penh. From my view of point, each city, especially the capital, has its own unique feature, so we should slow down our steps to find the beauties only blonged to them. I chose to stay two nights in Phnom Penh. Actually, it was enough to visit all traditional attractions in one day, so I had another day enjoying leisure life in Phnom Penh.

Phnom Penh is not big, so I think it is better to walk  aound the city. I visited all traditional attractions in the first day, including old Royal Palace, some old temples and National Museum.

Temples are often seen everywhere and we could take photos in the temples, which is very different from China. Wat Phnom（塔山寺）is located at a small hill, but it could be obvious to be seen anywhere. We could know the histroy why Cambodia moved the capital to Phnom Penh.

Buddhism is very close to people, I happened to witness one activity which was hold for the poor people around all the temples.

National Museum is good place to know much more the history and culture of Cambodia

S21/Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum监狱博物馆 is a little far away from the downtown of the city, where we could know one period of special gruesome history.
