Cambodia and Thailand are very popular tourist destinations in China. Even though I have been to Thailand once before, I have never been to Chiangmai which I have been dreaming to visit. So I decided to spend my National Day Holidays visiting Cambodica and Thailand.

Time and cost should be the first thing to be thought about when I make my tour plan every year. I asked 4 days' leave 3 months in advance and added 7 days of National Day Holidays and two days of weekends. I have total 13 days off.  International traffic is the biggest cost in all items, so I searched the related flight information on some travel websites of ebookers.com, expedia.com or edreams.comand and compared many times. Finally, I booked the flights 3 months in advance.

I applied for Cambodia visa  on the website of the Kingdom of Cambodia 20 days in advance and successed and got electric visa of Cambodia three days later. Thailand supports visa on arrival, so I didn't apply Thailand visa in advance. I were too busy holding tourism promotion activities in three cities of Yangtze river zone to do a lot of travel guide in advance at that time. In the meanwhile, I only took IP instead of laptop and camera because I didn't want to take so many heavy items. Here is my itinerary as follows.

Sep. 30, take the flight of Mu759 to Phnom Penh, the Capital of Cambodia.

Oct. 1 to Oct. 2, Phnom Penh 金边

Oct. 3 to Oct. 5, Siem Reap 暹粒

Oct. 5, Take the flight to Bangkok and then to Chiangmai

Oct. 5 to Oct. 11, Chiangmai 清迈

Oct. 12 to Oct. 13, Bangkok 曼谷

Oct. 13, Back to Shanghai and Suzhou, and Soul & Heart Tour in Cambodia and Thailand ended.
