Administration held Tourism Auction in Suzhou on
Friday. A lot of local tourism companies came together to promote
Zhoushan tourism products. Suzhou is the key market for Zhoushan,
so they selected Suzhou as the second stop to hold the auction.,
which is a new and effective way to promote the tourism industry.
Most of people maybe know Zhoushan because of Goddness of Mercy,
but there are really a lot of attractions besides Goddness of
Mercy. For example, Zhoushan has rich ocean
culture, beautiful ecological environment, delicious food, leisure
vacation and so on. The tourim companies auctioned off their
tickets, some of them were
saled so cheaply even from 1 yuan
in the beginning. Many unkown landscapes were showed to the public
in Auction. In addition, travel agencies got a lot of cheap tickets
for the markets. Local medias also reported a lot because it had
never done before in Suzhou. All in all, it was a good promotion
method.
