The impression in Edinburgh at the first sight is not as good as that in London. The longer we stay in Edinburgh, the more we love it. Edinburgh is divided into two parts, new city and old city, by Prince Street. The old city is not so big that it is the best way to visit it by feet. Besides a lot of castles and old buildings, there are many attractions such as beaches, gardens and hills. We go to visit some of them and would like to introduce to all of you. We buy day tickets, which we can take bus unlimited times in one day and then take number 34 bus to Ocean termidial. We can see the Royal Yacht Britannia and shopping centre. Unfortunately, we can’t see the Forth Bridge because it is not the right location. So we have to give up visiting the Forth Bridge and go to the Royal Botanic Garden, which is another feature of Edinburgh. Even though we are not experts of gardens, we enjoy what we see in the garden. We see many plants from all over the world and learn a lot of different garden arts. Finally, we go to the House of Parliament, Palace of Holyroodhouse and the Arthur’s seat. The House of Parliament is a new building and often holds some special exhibitions to the public. We happen to see beautiful photo exhibition from a great range topics. Holyroodhouse was rebuilt for Queen Mary in 1671, but it is the house for British family now when they come to Edinburgh. It doesn’t open to the public when they live in Holyroodhouse. In fact, the Arthur’s seat is a highest hill in Edinburgh, but it is a good place to overview the city. Many people would like to jogging on weekends. We think it is the must-see in Edinburgh.
