Guanyin is one of the most famous Bodhisattvas in China. It is reported that Guanyin will help the persons who are in the suffering, which many people believe in China. Putuo is just the place where Guanyin lives. So Putuo is a very hot attraction, especially during the day of Guanyin’s birthday, death, other important memorial time.

Putuo is an absolute island and belongs to Zhoushan city, Zhejiang Province, which is located at the coastal of east China. Even though the cross-sea bridge has already been built for about one year, you have to take the boat to Putuo from Zhoushan downtown. Putuo has over one hundred temples, which all have some relationship with Guanyin.
