In my opinion, museum is a good place to know more local history and culture. The Great Canal Museum of Huaian City is one of them. They are so many famous celebrities who were all born or worked in Huaihai, such as Mr. Zhou Enlai, Wu Chengen, and so on. We can know much more about what they had done in Huaian. From the point of National AAA Scenic Spot, there are something which should be improved as follows.

First, they should enhance more features of the Great Canal in their museum. The Great Canal is the most famous all over world, so one of the most competitive Huaian tourism brand is the Great Canal. Other cities are trying to develop some tourism products of the Great Canal. So I think Huaian City should grasp this chance to be one of important points of the Great Canal. However, it is unfortunate not to see much more information about the Great Canal.

Second, they should develop the canal tourism line. The highlight of the Great Canal is on the water, so they should develop the canal tourism line. It can also be built as the centre of Huaian tourism distribution. We can reach any attraction of Huaian by the boat.

Third, they should develop the culture tourism products into industry. Culture demands will be very popular and huge in the near future. So they should develop more and more culture products, such as relative books, video disco, which are all written or sung by Huaian celebrity.

Forth, they should promote the tourism market, especially internet. More fresh tourism information should be added into their website in time. Try to make good use of department website of local government.
