报道中"rave review"可以解释为高度好评.

在这里,rave不再是我们日常所见的"咆哮、胡言乱语",而是指an extravagantly favorable criticism(狂热赞扬),日常可用来修饰praise,criticism或review.

 

另外,rave也可单独作为名词来指代"热情赞扬",或用作动词,比如

The young director won raves for his film.

或者是

People were raving bout the young director's film.
