The children went to Mrs May's home.

Aneena knocked at the door.

Mrs May opened the door.

Mrs May was crying, "Come in." said Mrs May.

"What's the matter with you?" asked Nadim.

"My daughter's name is Kary," said Mrs May,"She was lost in the forest!"

She cried and cried.

Floppy called Kipper, "Let's look for Kary."

Kipper and Floppy went to the forest.

They hadn't come back for a long time.

"They must be lost in the forest." said Chip.

"We can find them." said Wilf and Wilma.

But they were gone in the forest too.

"We can find them." said Aneena and Nadim.

But they didn't come back.

"Oh no!" said Chip, "We mustn't find them."   (mustn't 原来是can't)

"We will." said Biff, "Let's go."                      (will 原来是can)

"You must come back." said Mrs May.

Biff and Chip went to the forest.

They saw a very big tree.

"Look at the tree. It's a strange tree." said Biff.

They found a hole in the tree.

"Look in the hole," said Chip, "It's a strange hole."

"Floppy, Kipper, Nadim, Aneena, Wilf and Wilma are in the hole!" said Chip, "But who is the girl?"

"It's Kary," said Kipper, "Someone had us here."

"Hooray!" shouted Biff, "Everyone is saved!"

They went back to Mrs May's home.

"We found Kary." said Biff.

"Thank you!" said Mrs May, "Hooray!"

Everyone was happy.

妈妈的话：

    这是豆豆昨晚睡前给我讲的故事，当时说好了，今天记下来。记录的时候豆有些忘了原来怎么讲的了。有些许的变动，但故事的大概没有变。原来讲的故事里还有Floppy barked and barked. Kary找回来以后Mrs May was pleased. 故事中红色部分是豆想说但不会的，妈妈帮忙的。修改的地方是豆讲完后觉得语气不够让妈妈帮忙找到更准确的词来表达的。

    听得出来，豆的故事很“典范”。最近我们暂停了NCE青少版的学习，专注在典范英语上,因为豆更喜欢这种学习方式。虽然3A还差两个故事才讲完，这次国庆节假期回丹东选择要带的书时，豆却跳过3B要求带上4A，因为4A差不多全是讲魔力钥匙和冒险的故事的，之前豆自己已经浏览过了很喜欢，妈妈自己却没有看过。因为只带了书没有带光盘，这是第一次没有听录音就直接读，妈妈惊喜地发现豆拼读生词的能力有了很大进步，不仅敢于拼读，而且成功率在80%左右，让妈妈看到豆英语自主阅读能力又前进了一大步。

    对比豆上一次讲的故事（收录在《总结一下最近的英语学习》中），这个故事不仅词汇量增大了，情节也复杂了许多，进步是明显的。
