There
is a special kind of asana for kids, Kids can't practice the same
class with elders, if do so then must will suffer from so many
complications. The thing is kids body is not same as elder, they
are under growth , if they practice some wrong yoga then they can
influence their growth. Other things their bones are so soft and if
they will do over flexibility that also can hurt their body or can
change the shape of bones.
A
right age for kids to start yoga is 9-11, below the age of 9 not to
practice is much better for ur kids, otherwise u can just find a
qualified teacher and let them practice some simple poses like cat
pose, lion pose, cat stretch, tree etc.
Yoga
need focus and more concentration on breath, if u do yoga with
wrong breathing that will be harmful for u, in the case with kids,
if they are at the age of 7-8-9 then they won't
listen to u, becuase they are not at that level can follow the Yoga
in a right way, this age also they can't concentrate so well. With
the kids Yoga have to be very careful and let them enjoy the
feeling of yoga.
There
are so many benifits of kids yoga, like can increase study skills,
increase learning power and remembering the things more easily,
keep ur mind fresh and pressure free, keep ur body fit and flexible
from the childhood, give proper nourishment to all muscles and
internal organs etc.
Asanas
for kids are kind of limited, because some difficult asanas can
influence their shape of body, asanas like cat pose, tiger pose, lion pose,cat stretch,
warrior 1 and warrior 2, tree pose, dance pose, downward facing
dog, cobra pose, bow pose, air releasing pose,one leg front bending
pose,bridge pose etc.
The
most important don't let kids self practice, find a qualified
teacher and lead them to practice with them.
Lead your kids for Yoga practice and let them be healthy always,
everybody wish their kids will be healthy and peaceful, so what u
