杭约赫（1917- 1995），原名曹辛之，江苏宜兴人。中国现当代著名诗人。杭约赫,一个诗意的笔名,它是“吭唷嗨”的谐音——劳动的号子。他学生时代参加抗日救亡运动,抗战开始,在延安陕北公学和鲁艺学习,自1940年到现在,一直从事文化出版工作,装帧艺术家。解放前在上海与友人办《诗创造》和《中国新诗》月刊,曾用“杭约赫”这一笔名出版过《噩梦录》、《火烧的城》、《复活的土地》等诗集,1981年与辛笛等出版了《九叶集》。

Hang yuehe1917-1995), formerly known as Cao xin-zhi, yixing,born in Yixing, jiangsu province.Chinese modern and contemporary famous poet.Hang yuehe, a poetic pen name, it is homophonic of "alley-oop hi" , it means labor's song.when he was a student to participate in the anti-japanese movement, of the national Anti-Japanese War began, studied with Luyi in Yan-an,Shanbei , since 1940 .he has been engaged in cultural publishing, binding artist.Before liberation,he  with his friends do, "poetry creation" and "Chinese Poetry" magazine  in Shanghai. He  has used the pen name" Hang yuehe"published" a nightmare ", "the city of fire",“the resurrection of the land of poetry”, in 1981 published "nine yeji" with XinDi etc.
