Y-3 – Store Opening Milan

On November 11^th, 2010, Y-3 opened its first flagship store in Milan located in the fashionable and prestigious area of Corso Como.

A select number of guests from the fashion, art and entertainment industry were invited to celebrate the opening of the first Y-3 flagship store in Italy.  

The store’s interior, featuring industrial materials and ultra-clean design, perfectly reflects the brand’s global signature retail concept. The 200 sq. meters two-level space has been customized to reflect a modern aesthetic with clean lines and great depth.

“Italy has always been an important market for Y-3. Milan is its fashion capital, so naturally we wanted to open the first Y-3 store here,” said Hermann Deininger, Chief Marketing Officer adidas Sport Style Division.

Since September 2004, Y-3 has opened stores across Asia, Europe and the US.

The Milan store offers the Y-3 Autumn/Winter 2010-11 Men’s & Women’s collection, which is reinterpreting classic shapes in futuristic materials, or alternately, classic materials in futuristic shapes. Y-3 has always melded technology with tradition, and never has that been more apparent. The Spring/Summer 2011 collection will be available in store from March 2011.
