这些动词均有陪伴、伴随之意：

1. Accompany常表现为比较平等的关系：e.g.

He believed they would accompany him where he went.

他相信无论他去哪里，他们都会陪伴着他。

2. Attend所表示的伴随，通常是为了履行职责、提供服务等：e.g.

He was attended by a few faithful followers.

他有一些忠实的追随者陪伴着。

3. Escort指出于保护或礼节的需要而陪同：e.g.
