雅思写作常用介词的正确用法（Part I）

about

1. 表时间：大约在…时间about five o'clock

2. 表距离：大约…远 about five kilometers

3. 关于、涉及 We talk about you. This book is about a famous man.

4. 固定搭配：be worried about担心/be serious about担心…/be concerned about关心…

above

1. 表方位：在…的正上方（凌空） A UFO is flying above our building. (区别于over有横跨在…之上的意思，e.g.a bridge over the river )

2. 表程度：在…之上, 超出…的能力范围 above zero/ above sea level/ above me

on

1. 表方位：在…上面（紧贴某物） My book is on the desk.

2. 表时间：

a)某日（具体日期），某日上下午 on Monday/ Feb 2/ Sunday morning

b) 一…就… on + 动名词 On hearing the good news, she cried. 一听见这个好消息，她就哭了。I will call you on arrival.我一到了就打电话给你。

3. 固定搭配：on time准时/ go on继续/live on…靠…为生/abook on…关于…/ on one’s way 谁在…路上(区别于in the way，挡路), get on/ off a train, ship, struck(同时记下get into/ out of a taxi/ car/ bus), call on sb拜访(区别于call at some place)/ depend on… 依靠

1. 横过：walk across the street 横过马路 （二维平面，区别于through三维空间的穿越）

2. 对面： There is a post station across the street. 马路对面有加邮局。

through

1. 穿越…get through the channel

2. 通过…through long-term study

after

1. 表方位：在…之后He is running after me.（after是动态介词，区别于静态介词behind）

2. 表时间：在…之后 after supper/ 2 o’clock/ 2 days(只用于过去，将来用in)

3. 固定搭配：one after another一个接一个/ run after追赶

against

1. 表态度：反对… be/fight against sb/sth与…对抗

2. 表方位： against the wall背靠墙/ against the wind逆风

1. 表方位：在…之中（三者以上）among the trees/ among the people

1．表时间:在…(时间点) at 2 o’clock/ ten/sunrise/midday/noon/sunset/daybreak/midnight/night,或at the beginning of sth …开始的部分，at the end ofsth …结束的部分（不指时间，区别于in the beginning开始, in the end=at last最终）

2. 表地点:在…(小地点) at school, at home (只跟小地点，大地点用in,如in China)另外，门牌号码前要用at, at No. 3 Beijing Road

3. 表速度: at high speed以很高的速度

4．表指向：向着、朝着… at me

5．表年龄：…岁 at + 数字，at the age of+数字，atone’s age

6．固定搭配：look at看/ laugh at sb嘲笑某人，at the end of sth在…的尽头,at the foot of the mountain在山脚下, at the top of the page在页面上方,at the corner of the street在街角(外角用at,内角用in,e.g. in the corner of the house), be good at sth 对…很在行(区别于begood for对…有好处), be pleased at sth( be pleased with sb)

1. 表时间:在…之前(完成时，区别与ago,用一般过去时) before 2 o’clock/ lunch

2. 表方位：位于…之前 He sits before me.

behind

1. 表方位：位于…之后 He sits behind me.

2. 固定搭配：fall behind 退步，落后

below

1.表方位：在…正下方（反义词above） below the sea level

2.表程度：低于…水平 below zero

3.固定搭配：below the standard不及格

by

1. 表时间：在…时刻之前(截止点,在这一刻之前把…做完)I will hang in my homework by the end of this semester.

2. 表方位：在…旁边 I haven’t got any money by me.

3. 表途径、方法：通过…的方法（途径） by + 交通工具（注：by train=in atrain/ by bicycle=on a bicycle/ by ship=on a ship/ by boat=in a boat/ by bus=ona bus/ by plane=on a plane/ by air 空运/ by land 陆运/by sea 海运/ on foot on horseback/ by phone/ by letter/ by radio/ by mail/ by hand）

1. 表时间：在……期间during the holidays

for

1. 表时间：延续多长时间（加时间段,配完成时，区别于at 加时间点）for 2 hours/several years I haven’t seen you for a long time.

2. 表方位：去…leave for Shanghai

3. 表目的：为了…;对于… I made it for you. It’s good for you

4. 固定搭配：look for 寻找（强调过程，区别于find强调结果），search for寻找/leave for…, start for…, set out for…, sail for…动身前往某地,e.g. leaveChina for America离开中国去美国（这里不用to）, thank sb for sth 为某事感谢某人, be late for sth 在某事上迟到(区别于come late to)，askfor 请求 call for 接人，请人 care for 关心，go in for 从事， answer for 负责，look for 寻找，wait for 等待， send for 请人，pay for 付款，search for 寻找， leave for 去某地，prepare for 准备。

1. 表时间：从…时到…时from morning till night

2. 表方位：来自于…I’m from New York.

3. 固定搭配：be made from…由…原料制成（区别于be made of…由…部分构成） , hear from sb 收到某人的来信，be different from…, tell.. from…
