    A few months back, Phil McKinney gave us one look at tomorrow during a keynote about media in the connected future. He was showing off concept images of some interesting ideas for how we see things going in the next few years. I’m talking new mobile form factors, flexible and transparent displays to name a few. As we're starting to talk more about our partnership with the upcoming DreamWorks film, Real Steel, I wanted to share with you a different kinda vision. We got clearance to share some still-shots from Real Steel with flashes of HP future-tech that we envisioned for the film -- which takes place in 2018.

    But I also managed to sneak on board the truck used in the movie to get a close-up shot of the props for HP gear from 2018 -- reserve yours today!! (I kid, I kid.)

Consider for a second how far some of our products have evolved int the past few years. We've gone from micro-sized netbooks to thin laptops this size of a netbook but offer the power of a modest laptop (I'm talking about the Pavilion dm1). Look at how the TouchSmart computers have evolved in a very short time (The latest TouchSmart 610s are damn smart). And HP monitors? We've gone from huge, hulking displays to paper-thin screens like on the HP x2301. So, if you think about it, crazier things have happened.
