Fall, leaves, fall; die, flowers, away;

树叶儿凋零；花朵儿凋谢；                                           

Lengthen night and shorten day；

渐短的白天，渐长的黑夜；                                           

　Every leaf speaks bliss to me,

    从秋天的枝头－落叶飘舞，                                         

　Fluttering from the autumn tree.

　一片片，一片片，－为我祝福。

I shall smile when wreaths of snow

当雪花飞旋，我含笑微微，                                      

Blossom where the rose should grow;

那里盛开的本应是玫瑰；                                           

　I shall sing when night’s decay

　当黑暗消亡，我一展歌喉，                                       

　Ushers in a drearier day.
