         易大姐是我老年大学的同学，

Elder sister Yi is a classmate of my University for the aged,

那已经是我刚退休时候上的英语班。

That was my English class when I just  retired.

算来已经是十多年前了，

It was more than ten years ago，

一起同窗共读了六七年之久。

We have been studying with my classmates for six to seven years.

到现今我们还保持良好的友谊，

Today we still maintain good friendship.

她退休前是一位国家干部，

Before she retired, she was a national cadre.

但是她不骄傲，人品好对人和蔼可亲。

But she was not proud, and was kind to people.

她比我大十几岁，

She is over ten years older than me,

现今已经超过八十岁了，

Now she is over eighty years old,

但是还是很爱学习。

  But she still loves studying.

 她以往学习过英语、会计、

She has studied English, accounting,

文学、裁剪和摄影，

 literature, tailoring and photography in the past.

就是现在还一周三次到老年大学上课。

Even now, she still three classes a week go to university of aged.

还在学习智能手机、

She also learning smart phones,

古典诗词、以及中医养生。

classical poetry, and Chinese medicine health preservation.

 除了陶冶情操和修身养心外，

Apart from cultivating feelings and cultivating one's mind,

 还学以致用和活学活用。

 Learn to apply and learn to use.

 她学习了中医，

 She studied Chinese medicine.

 保护好了她先生的恢复和健康，

 Protecting her husband's recovery and health.

 八年前她先生因为胃癌开刀手术，

从医院里拿了化疗药物回到家中，

现在她的先生手术八年后，

爱学习的易大姐真的了不起，
