      （一） Haste maske waste  欲速不达 

 Meaning probably in the Spring and Autumn Period,Confucius was working as a horse coachman,and he leaent and comperechended a lot of truth fromworking there. 

  意思大概是在春秋时期，孔子在年轻时候当过赶马的车夫，在这个工作中领悟出很多的道理。 

 For example don’t goo too fast,do not pay attention to small amount of  money.If you pan attention to little benefit,maybe you will not be succesful with any major event.If you want to take shortcuts but path is blocked,that is haste makes waste. 

  比如不要速度太快，不要重视一点小钱。如果见到一点小利，大事也许就办不成了，想要走捷径却往往是此路不通，那就是欲速不达了。

  He tells them the truth in the way travel around the world to the students,Zhi Lu laughed at his political snags,He haste makes waste to prevarication.

  他在周游列国的途中给学生们讲述这些道理，子路笑他政治上处处碰壁，他用欲速则不达来推诿。

  Another example;There was a student who wanted to ent Zhennai county,He commanded hisnunnery to bring a stack of books with wooden planks to follow along. 

 又有一个案例；古代有个读书人要进入镇海县城，吩咐小书童用木板捆好一大叠书跟着走。

 Just then,the evening sun has already began to sat,but the road to the county are still about two miles left. 

  这个时候，偏西的太阳已经落山了，望望县城还有大概二里路。

 So he asked the ferryman;can we still make it to the south gate before it is closed?The ferrman said;If you walk slowly,the gate will remain open,if you rush,the gate will be shut down. 

 顺便问问那摆渡的人；“还来得及赶上南门开着吗？”那位摆渡的人说；“慢慢地走城门还会开着，急忙赶路城门就要关了。”

 That the student heard a little angry,People thought he was teasting.So small nunnery quickly hurried forward,Small nunnery hurried running,Unexpectedly halfway fall,Book taying rope broke,Books are scattered over the ground,Small nunnery cry,Two impatient hurriedly strapped the book,Then south gate time,In front of the gates have been locked up.  

 那书生听了有点生气，认为他在戏弄人。如此催着小书童快快的前行，小书童慌忙地跑步，不料在半路摔了一跤，捆扎书的绳子断了，书本都散了一地，小书童哭了，二人心急慌忙地把书捆好，再到南门时候，前方的城门已经上锁了。

 This time that the student awake to the truth that ferry people to speak.Those wonderful thing because impationt reckless bring their own problems. This is probably,This is the haste makes waste.

 这个时候那书生领悟了渡船人讲话的道理，那种美好的事情因为急躁给自己带来麻烦，这也许就是道理，欲速则不达。
