Mr.Yu Minhong told a story about an Americ physics teacher education students to other teachers and parents.
俞敏洪给老师和家长讲述了一位美国物理老师教育学生的故事。
A physics teacher taught a student who caused headaches for other teachers.
那位物理老师曾遇到一名很令老师们头疼的学生。
That student is not noly poor at fundamentals of physics,but completely not interested in subject of physics.
这位学生不仅物理基础差,对物理也完全没有兴趣。
So the teacher thought of a away,he said to the student;‘On your last exam,you only got 8 points,if on your next eaam you can get 9 points or more,I’ll give you credit.
老师就想了一个办法,对那名学生说;“你你上次考试只有8分,如果下次考试考到9分以上我就给你学分。”
The students thought about it for a second,it is not difficult to gets 9 points,so he agreed to his teacher’s proposal.
学生一想,考9分并不困难,于是同意了老师的建议.
On the second exam,the student got a mark of 28.However,if the teacher recognize the student’s progressin front of the class,it certainly is an insult to the student.
第二次考试,这名学生考了28分,但是如果考到这个分数在全班面前表扬他,无疑是侮辱那名学生。
The wise teacher thought of a good way,He asked the entire class to take the mark from the second exam minus the mark from last physics exam,to see which student made the greatest progress.
聪明的老师是有好办法的,他要求全班同学学吧这次物理考试的成绩减去上次考试成绩,看那位同学进步大。
Some students in the class got 95 from last exam,and also got 95 points on the second exam,so the difference between both examinations is zero.
班上有得同学上次考了95分,这次还是95分,两次考试一减只是零分。
Some students score a minus,but also become a negative score.
有的同学成绩一减,还变成了负分。
When the teacher asked the class;”Which students progress MAX”time,All the students shouted students who name.
当老师问全班同学;“那位同学的进步最大”时,全班同学都喊出了那位同学的名字。
Since then,more and more students who like physics,And
eventually became a famouse physicist.
从此以后,那位同学越来越喜欢物理,并最终成了著名的物理学家。
