唐顺陵是唐代女皇武则天母亲杨氏的陵墓，位于咸阳市渭城区底张镇马村西南，龙枣村东北，北距咸阳市约18公里。唐顺陵是国家级文物保护单位，也是我国现存风貌最完整的古陵园之一。

    杨氏死于唐高宗咸享元年（公元670年），按王妃礼制修墓冢。武则天称帝后追填封其母主为“孝明高皇后”，将墓改为陵，称“顺陵”。陵园分为内外二城，内城也叫皇城，为方形，四角夯土墙仍很明显。

    唐顺陵前现有石人12尊，石羊、石狮各一对，华表顶1件，石础1对，北门外还有石马一对，南门有石走狮和天禄各一对。石走狮雌雄各一，其中雄狮最为威武，躯体硕大，双目圆睁，呲牙张口，作阔步行走的动态，气势磅礴，真实生动。天禄又名独角兽，形似鹿，长一角，肩部有卷纹双翅，足为马蹄尾垂与石座相连。石走狮和天禄是顺陵石刻中的精品，造型雄伟，体积世巨大，均为一整块石头雕刻，厚朴雄健，为我国稀有的珍品，被誉为唐陵石刻之冠。
