十方庵位于江阴市城南，历史记载，初建于明万历年间，本名“十方云水禅院”，咸丰十年毁于兵火，同治年重修，光绪四年建眦卢殿，规制宏伟，为邑中诸庵之冠，据说盛时有房数十间，常住僧百余人。现此庵为群楼所掩，绝大部分建筑都被拆除，旧基被某工厂占用，现在用来安身的，是过去的仪堂。
问及这里的过去，老人们眼中似乎发亮，提到现在，却一个个摇头不止，一副感慨万千的样子。(介绍来自网络)
