普罗旺斯的阳光好像已经把我晒得懒懒洋洋了。算一算从繁华的大都市搬到这里都已4年多，也不知道当初为什么回在瞬间下了决定搬到远离大都市的法国乡村，可能想我这样的人就得在冲动之下做出决定，一但慢慢地考虑好像就什么决定也作不出来了。记得每次跟朋友抱怨这里的无聊的日子的时候，他们总是说我不知足，说我呆在一个全世界人向往生活的地方享受着阳光，我知道可能全世界的人又被Peter Mayle给骗了。他那几本写普罗旺斯的书，勾起了全世界的人的好奇心要来看看这个有阳光，薰衣草和印象派的地方。第一次在办公室里问起那些在本地生，在本地长的同事，几乎没有人知道那个英国人曾经在全世界卖普罗旺斯，并且我那些来游玩的朋友要找寻的胜地，他们也全然不知，可能他们所关心的只是每周工作35小时后，可以回家修花园和游泳池，吃吃喝喝而已， 或是周末开了CAMPING CAR去海边。

也许是因为我到普罗旺斯是来工作的，整天和法国人进行所谓的阶级和民族斗争，也有了与游客和度假者完全不一样的感受。一直说要写一个我的版本的ONE YEAR IN PROVENCE， 但这个计划确搁浅了好几年。现在不用上班了，再也不因该有理由或借口去偷这份懒。下个决心，开始好好回忆在这里的日子，在这里遇到的人，看到的东西，努力与大家分享一下我的感受。

半年前在ORANGE买了一个小房子，当时知道在不久的将来要失业，要自己去租房子住，也就下了决心买个自己的小窝，（因为心疼把房租交给别人）。选择ORANGE可能是因为这里的交通方便，也许是因为原来住在这附近。然后就在努力给自己的决定找一些借口：因为自己喜欢夏季的时候在城中的古罗马剧场享受歌剧，因为这个城市是普罗旺斯的门户，因为很多艺术，历史书上都会写道这个城市...... 渐渐每次自豪地告诉朋友我家就在古剧场和凯旋门之间。因为自己不擅于摄影，只能借盗朋友们拍下的照片放在这里。

The sun in Provence makes me so lazy. I just realize that I have stayed here for more then 4 years. I never make it clear why I took the decision to move from Paris to south France where I did not visit before, the place only read in the books of Peter Mayle even before I came to France. To be frank, his books make outside people feel Provence as a dreamed heaven with the sunshine, blue sky lavande, and the impressionism. But at the same time, local people are not aware that an British man is selling Provence all around the world. Maybe because they only consider the gardening, repairs of their house or swimming pool and driving their camping car to the beach after 35hours work, also it is better not be disturbed by the tourist in the nice weather season. 

I moved here for work, fighting with French in the office let me discover Provence differently as the one coming for holiday. After first winter here, I had decided to write my version ONE YEAR IN PROVENCE. Finally, I registered the blog account in order to put my recollections in order, and to share my feelings with you my dear friends.

6 months ago, when I felt that I must find a place to live when being jobless in the coming future, I bought a small flat in Orange. Why choose Orange? Maybe cause, it has excellent communications, near highway and TGV station… Then I try to find the other reasons to prove this right decision. It is a historical town, the door to enter into Provence, the triumphal arch is an impression architectural creation of the Romans, also I love to enjoy the opera in the antique theatre…. Now I am proud of telling you that my home is between the triumphal arch and the antique theatre.

其实一个地方住下来了也就没有了感受，只是每日生活的地方，只用在夏季游客到来的时候才能感觉到人气和生机。连上两个好友写ORANGE的博文，她们眼里的感受可能更加丰富。
