    第三届“纳木措”国际徒步大会组委会民间传说和藏传佛教、苯教都认为纳木措湖是圣湖。流传最广的说法即纳木措是念青唐古拉山神的妻子，是佛母金刚亥母仰卧的化身，身语意俱全。若能绕湖而行，便能得到渊博的知识和无量功德，并舍去恶习及痛苦，最后获得正果。纳木措徒步转湖穿越身体的地狱
    NamTso Lake can be regarded as a sacred lake according to the folklore and Tibetan Buddhism.The most popular view is that Na NamTso is the wife of mountain god and the embodiment of mothergod. It asserts that if you stay for a while, you will have a good understanding of what is “dao”. Inaddition, NamTso Lake marks one of the most sacred lakes in Tibet. If wandering around it, you willcertainly be endowed with rich and profound knowledge, thus releasing yourself in a real sense.
