Ethnic Sports Competition in Yonghurt Festival

    8月，北京奥运刚刚送走世界各地的体育健儿，9月，圣城拉萨又将迎来高原的民族英雄。历年在拉萨雪顿节中，传统体育活动总是不可缺少的一道风景线。藏族同胞的竞技活动，更像是聚朋会友的一种方式，人们赶着牦牛、骑着骏马、穿着盛装，从草原深处奔来，从雪山之巅走来，带来圣洁的哈达献给勇士。人们笑着，唱着，笑声、掌声、相机的咔嚓声、牛马的嘶鸣声交织在一起——雪顿节变成了属于藏族人民自己的“小奥运”。

    With the goings of athletes f rom al l over the world in August, we witness the comings of national heroes in plateau city, Lhasa in September.That is, traditional sporting activities constitue an indispensable part in Yoghurt festival .Specifically, our Tibetan people actively take participate in tournament competition, driving yak and r iding steed f rom remote places like the warriors. And people sing and smile with the laughter,applause, chugger and moo intertwined to form what a s s ume s t o be a “Mini-style Olympic”be longi ng t o Tibe tan  people.
