〈与诗人有约〉

朋友，你是否看得见
福尔摩沙殷切的目光
搜索着儿时的记忆
眷恋故乡是多麽的美
朋友，你是否听得见
这蝉鸣，这西子湾
这悄声的落叶
月儿在故乡 一度一度地圆
或许 你已然忘怀
但我重覆的诗句──
是不变的关怀，永不忘却

注：当日，我们与多位笠诗人在日本料理餐厅用餐，相谈甚欢。而后，也在高雄文学馆合影，由郑医师主持暨安排旅美诗人非马（马为义博士）在馆内演讲，并约定下次非马回台湾再聚，留下难忘的回忆。

Have a date with the poet

My friend, can you see 

     Formosa's eager eyes

     Are still groping for childhood memories?

     How beautiful is the love of one's hometown

My friend, can you hear

The singing of cicadas, the Xizi Bay

The whispering leaves? 

The hometown's moon has been full many times 

Maybe you have forgotten

    Yet my repeated poetic lines ─ ─

Show constant loving care, always remember

Note. On that December day, Dr. William Marr and I as well as several local poets had a good time chatting with each other in the Japanese restaurant.  Later, Dr. Marr gave a lecture on poetry at the Kaohsiung Literature Museum and promised to meet us again next time when he returns to Taiwan. -2019.6.6
