張開大口
把一卡車一卡車
鋼筋水泥砂石
猛吞進肚里
輾轉反側
每個心
都在那裡
倥倥倥倥營造
比這城市
更高大綺麗的
夢
NIGHT OF SHANGHAI
with its gigantic mouth wide
open
it swallows up
truckloads
upon truckloads
of steel, cement and
sand
turning over and
over
every sleepless
heart
is busily pounding
trying hard to build a
dream
more beautiful and
colossal
than this city
