那一片静；
溶溶在春风中立着，
面对着山，面对着小河流？

什么时候还能那样
满掬着希望；
披拂新绿，耳语似的诗思，
登上城楼，更听那一声钟响？

什么时候，又什么时候，心
才真能懂得
这时间的距离；山河的年岁；
昨天的静，钟声
昨天的人
怎样又在今天里划下一道影！

 by that serenity

standing like water in the spring breeze,

to face the mountain and riverlet?

When can I again, with hope

cupped in my hands,

wear verdure and

poetic thoughts in whispers,

mount the city wall

to capture that bell ring!

this heart will truly comprehend

the distance of time

and the years of land

 Yesterday,

serenity, bell,and me,

how we cut into today with a shadow!
