今天是WOWTCG北美洲际锦标赛的第一日，经过九轮构筑的对弈，96名牌手获得了进入明天轮抽环节的资格。豪取九连胜的还是法师，不过洗了天赋换了英雄转型为“火法”。8胜1负的总共六人，其中沉寂已久的术士占据了一半的名额，成为抢眼的亮点，

常言道：一个成功男人的背后，一定有一个成功的女人。由此推断，一个成功术士的背后，一定有一个成功的魅魔。“人间胸器”Hesriana横空出世，霍然将术士推向了一线的行列。三副套牌虽然都满编了Hesriana，整体思路却截然不同，表现出了TCG始终追求的多样性，着实可喜可贺。

这套术士是8版初露锋芒的“圣衣+狗杖”的改良版，不断回收利用被移出游戏的技能，并且控制对手的手牌，蚂蚁啃骨头一般将优势累积为胜势。Backlash是Damien Dufresne选择毁灭天赋的原因所在，充分贯彻了术士“自残补牌”的一贯精神。亡灵英雄限定的Dethvir the Malignant让Invoke the Nether和The Bringer of Death的使用无所顾忌，被遗忘者的意志得到了完美诠释。

“术士快攻”终于从不可能变成可能，主要归功于：1）“亚当”（Adam Eternum）和“夏娃”（Hesriana）男女搭配，干活不累。2）在Eye of the Storm的配合下，我们的“希曼”在攻击时几乎不用考虑什么护卫，而且在不同的位面来回穿梭的特性使得他很难阵亡。3）Dominate灵活机动的AE以及补刀，注意它可以作用于己方的UT盟军。

众多低费用的盟军大打人海战术，因为他们拥有一座可以信赖的靠山：坐镇主场Undercity的Dethvir the Malignant是友军的守护神，食尸顺利的话（嗯，尽管有时没少吃自己人……），“小强”的称号非他莫属。另外，正如行家所料，Vanessa Fairgraves果然是第一个最可能普及的死亡骑士。最后值得提及的是，Curse of Weakness是很好的备牌之选，布衣职业总算等到了梦寐以求的后手装备：Wub's Cursed Hexblade。
