Medical Science Is Never
Sophistry
( 25.
Science And Technology )
Our TCM
(Traditional Chinese Medicine) has
undergone thousands of
years of refinement
and has
become a relatively mature knowledge
system
for health preservation and disease
treatment, including the
knowledge system
of
science, technology and skills.
All of
these have already been
supported by
a large
amount of facts and are constantly
being
reported on television.
Faced
with such a large number of
objective
facts,
the gang of guys who always want
to
ruin TCM
completely deny these
objective
facts and
the actual therapeutic
effects
contained
in all of these facts, or they
may
reluctantly admit that these objective
facts
are all
individual or isolated cases, personal
medical
historys and illusions of
therapeutic
effects.
It should
be of particular note is that
those
guys
often take pride in ruining TCM
because
they
believe they have a powerful
weapon
against
TCM, which is double-blind trials.
In fact,
it is precisely that those guys'
being
paranoid
and playing tricks for a long
time
that
fully unmasks their limited
understanding
of
science, so that their limited
understanding
of
science can
be completely
ignored.
If we
look back at the history of
medical
development, we can get the
following
conclusions:
1. To
assess whether a person truly
possesses
scientific literacy, we should first test
his
attitude
towards objective facts, rather
than
just
whether he is obsessed with
certain
technical
standards.
2. Any
medical professional, as long as he
has
some
scientific literacy, naturally has an
interest
in any
objective facts related to his
profession,
especially those that cannot be interpreted
by
his
current professional knowledge.
Because
if he analyzes such objective
facts
rationally, his rational analysis may
inspire
his own
thinking, broaden his own
thinking
and even
give him the opportunity to
seek
more
effective, safer and more
convenient
solutions
for various difficult and
complicated
diseases,
in end, provide more
effective
medical
services for patients.
So, the
problems, whether to
objectively
view
these numerous objective facts
and
the
actual therapeutic effects
contained
in these
objective facts, are actually
strict
tests of
whether every doctor has the
minimum
scientific literacy.
Because
ultimately, any doctor should
be
responsible for their patients, the
treatment
effects their
patients have received,
and
relevant
objective facts, not just for their
own
cognition, the double-blind trials
they
care about, or their annual salary.
As for
how to further analyze and
understand
such
objective facts, there may be
different
understandings due to differences in
disciplines
and
technologies, and these phenomena
are
often
seen in the history of
scientific
development.
For
example, in 2014, there was a
sudden
outbreak
of Ebola virus in Africa,
which
caused a
mortality rate of over 50%
for
patients
at that time, making it very
dangerous.
At that
time, two American medical
staff
were
unfortunately infected and
recovered
after
careful treatment upon
returning
home.
This
successful case is indeed good
news
for
patients, and it should have been
a
great
thing for us humans.
It's
strange that some guys use this
case
to
ridicule TCM for not
undergoing
double-blind trials, and they are
even
grateful
that American doctors at that
time did
not use any traditional
Chinese
medicine
!
In fact,
this kind of nonsense is a
typical
viral
specimen that often gets hidden
in
medical
discussions !
Now,
let's take a closer look at this
kind
of virus
specimen:
1. this guy was first pleased
that the American
doctors did not use any
traditional Chinese
medicine during this successful
treatment
Isn't it
some strange that our doctors
treat
TCM in
such a way ?
In fact,
the use of traditional Chinese
medicine
by
American doctors is a rare occurrence,
while
the use
of Western medicine by them
for
treatment
is an extremely common thing,
and
as long
as the treatment is effective, it is
understandable.
Or in
other words, American doctors don't
use
traditional Chinese medicine, is this really
worth
being
happy ?
So, we
should question this person sternly:
Is your pride so
humble
that it has already
reached
a shameful point
?
2. This guy even used this case to
mock
that TCM
had not undergone
double-blind
trials
Then, I
would like to ask a question:
Did the
2014 Ebola treatment
measure
with
western medicine undergo any
double-blind trial before its
use?
Let's
think about it carefully again:
If we had
to adhere to large-scale
double-blind trails before
treatment,
how could
such a successful cure be
possible
?
In fact,
if any treatment measure must
be
undergone double-blind trails
before
being
allowed to be used, for many
new
diseases,
doctors do not know much
about the
new diseases, at this time,
if
doctors
still have to insist on
double-blind
trials,
perhap the doctors have to wait
for
ever
!
And in
this way, our medical
development
definitely enters a dead
end !
Therefore, objectively speaking, from
the
very
beginning, Western medicine
has
not
always adhered to the principle
of
"All treatment plans must
undergo
double-blind trials First", which
was set
by Western
medicineitself
.
For
instance, the first successful cure
of
the Ebola
virus was a case the Western
medicine
doctors took great pride in.
Yet, why
must traditional Chinese
medicine
wait for
the results of double-blind trials ?
It is
evident that double-blind trials
often
serve as
a prop for some guys to ruin TCM !
Just
because of it, for a long time,
those guys
claim
that 'Traditional
Chinese medicine
has not
undergone double-blind
trials,
so
TCM cannot be trusted', and even
if
there are
many actual cases of
traditional
Chinese
medicine successfully curing
diseases,
those guys may never admit
these
actual cases.
However,
whenever Western medicine
doctors
encounter a new disease, they
themselves can try to treat the
new
disease
without undergoing any
double-blind trials, and once
the
treatment
is indeed effective, then
it's
time for
them to boast about it by
themselves .
In fact,
those guys used the
double-blind
trails as
a prop to undermine TCM,
aiming
to
achieve the following two
objectives:
1. To show off how professional
they are
Actually,
medical science is about
efficacy,
so, it's
best to keep all the so-called
medical
professional knowledge that has
nothing
to do
with efficacy sealed in the
toiletstools,
so that
such the so-called
medical
professional knowledge can not
wander
around to
interfere with effective
treatment
no longer
!
2. To ruin our TCM
For a
long time, those guys have
used
double-blind trails to ruin TCM,
and
now, they
have indeed mastered the
following
three skills:
2.1 To
maliciously utilize the
difference
between the
individual cases and the
lots of
cases
For a
long time, those guys have denied
all
cases of
effective treatment of diseases
with
TCM, so
that TCM's treatment can
never
achieve
scale effects, to the point
that
TCM
always cannot meet the scale
requirements for double-blind
trials.
But the
effective treatment of
Western
medicine,
even if it is the first case
and
has not
undergone double-blind
trials,
can still
be highly praised.
2.2 To
maliciously utilize the
difference
between clinical treatment
and
technological research and
development
In fact,
clinical treatment inevitably
has
time
requirements, but
technological
research
and development has its own
periodicity, which cannot meet the
time
requirements of clinical treatment
in
a timely
manner.
Because
double-blind trials are
essentially
technical
means for verifying the
effectiveness of Western medicine
pills,
but not
clinical skills !
So, those
guys use the cyclical
requirements
of
technological research and
development
to
prevent clinical treatment with TCM,
which
is indeed
a hidden trick.
But
western medicine itself does not
need
to be
subject to similar
restrictions.
For
example, the first cured case of
Ebola,
although
not subjected to double-blind
trials,
often
takes pride in it.
From
this, it can be seen that those
guys
used
double-blind trials not to
consider
therapeutic effects, but to ruin TCM
.
2.3 To
maliciously utilize the
difference
between
qualitative and quantitative
Some
problems, perhaps due to
immature
conditions, only have qualitative
conclusions
temporarily, making it difficult to
have
quantitative conclusions.
But this
does not mean that
qualitative
conclusions are worthless.
In fact,
in many cases, qualitative
analysis
is more
important than quantitative analysis.
Because using the wrong method,
no
matter how precise it is, it is
always
wrong !
More
importantly, as long as the
medical
measure
is effective, it can be
adhered
to
use.
As for
quantitative analysis, it can
be
temporarily put aside.
Because
ultimately, medical science is
of
treating
diseases and saving lives,
not
just test
analysis !
So, it is
not difficult to find that all
the
tricks of
that gang of pseudo scholars
hide a
deep logical trap:
On the
one hand, they insist that
all
medical
measures must undergo
double-blind trials.
but on
the other hand, they
completely
negate
all effective treatment
measures
of
TCM.
Just a
slight analysis of their tricks
reveals
that
those guys have already dug a
bottomless trap for our TCM
by
double-blind trails!
For in
this way, double-blind trials
naturally
become
their handy "Big
killer", and
they
can use
such "Big killer" to recklessly
ruin
TCM!
So, in
the face of the so-called 'Big
killer'
of
double-blind trials, we ourselves
should
keep a
rational understanding:
The
double-blind trial is ultimately just
a
technical
means for Western medical
science
to
evaluate western medicine pills,
and
fundamentally has its instrumental
side.
That is,
if double-blind trials are
applied
correctly, rationally and in good faith,
then
double-blind trials are indeed
beneficial
to the
development of medical
technology
and the
treatment of patients.
However,
if double-blind trials are
maliciously
abused,
then double-blind trials are
just
something
like a decaying blade of
grass,
with
little
value.
We need
not be burdened or even misled by
it,
otherwise
we are inevitably harmed by it!
In fact,
when humans first faced the Ebola
virus,
thanks to
the doctors at that time who did
not
adhere to
clich é s such as double-blind
trials,
but
instead persisted in effective rescue,
the
first two
patients infected with the Ebola
virus
were
ultimately cured.
This fact
reminds us the following principles:
1.
Double blind trials are just a technical
means
to evaluate western
medicine pills, so,
double
blind trials themselves have absolutely no
right
to
prevent others from effectively
treating
patients!
2.
The core essence of medical science
are
that medical science should be based
on
facts, guided by therapeutic
effects,
patient-centered and treat diseases
as
its
duty !
In short,
the most important thing in
medical
science
is nothing but the actual
therapeutic
effect.
Faced
with the numerous objective facts
that
TCM can
effectively treat diseases, for a
long
time,
double-blind trials have been unable
to
rationally interpret such a large number
of
objective
facts, which itself proves
that
double-blind trials are redundant to
TCM
In order
for patients to receive timely
and
effective
treatment, double-blind
trials
must not
continue to hinder the
development
of
medical science from now on !
From
this, it can be seen that,
fundamentally
speaking,
double-blind trials are only
a
technical
specification of Western
medicine,
but TCM
has its own technical
specifications,
and at
the same time, the technical
specifications of TCM are not
necessarily
the same
as those of western medicine.
So, as
long as there are a large number
of
objective
facts that can prove that a
certain
TCM
treatment method has
significant
therapeutic effects, there is no need
to
be
subject to the technical
specifications
of
Western medicine.
In fact, eliminating all
unnecessary
interference is the optimal
ecology
for the development of a
discipline
It
can also be put simply, if a toothache
patient
receives effective
treatment from a dentist, it
is
already good
enough.
At
this point, it's no need for him to go to
the
obstetrics and gynecology department and
ask
the
obstetrician,
" Is that dentist's
treatment
method correct
? "
In fact,
in the face of the gang of
pseudo
scholars
who always want to ruin TCM
by
their
long-term unreasonable
entanglement
with TCM,
we should first sweep away
their
scientific ignorance and make
them
understand the following three basic
laws
of
medical science:
1.
The First Law of medical science
We
should discuss science according
to
objective facts, and meanwhile
,we
should discuss medical
science
according to curative effects
.
2.the Law of Medical Science's
DNA.
Namely, only the combination of
objective
facts and actual therapeutic effects
could
become the only DNA double strand
that
can
give birth to medical
science.
Only the DNA double strand
composed of
the
combination of "objective
facts+actual
therapeutic effects"
is the only intrinsic
driving
force for the rapid and healthy
development of medical
science !
3.the Law of the Core Principles
of
Medical
Science
Medical science must adhere to its
own
core
principles.
That is to say, medical science
must
adhere to the principles of
being
based on facts, guided by
therapeutic
effects, patient-centered, and
treating
diseases as its
duty.
If that
gang of guys are even reluctant
to
understand these basic knowledge
of
medical
science, then let them delve
into
their own business in the field
of
medical
technology, and actually, from
now on,
it's no need for them to
try
their
most to talk about anything
of
medical
science,.especially
TCM.
Because
their cognitive level is too low,
so that
at most they have only heard
something
called "Medical Science"
in
the
world, but actually, they are too
far
away from
real medical science, which
is really
out of their reaches!
So, those
guys don't have to rush to
participate in any medical
discussions,
and we no
longer have to care about
their
word games woven with
professional
terminologies !
The
reason for this is precisely because the
so-called medical science in
the minds of
those
guys is just a mixture of "the
science
without
humanities" and "the
knowledge
without
conscience".
Simply
put, the medical science defined
by
such guys
is a mishmash of medical
technology
and money
making techniques, which is
far
from the
true medical science !
Whenever
I find out this kind of rotten things
impersonating medical science, it's like
seeing
an
ordinary nurse in the inpatient
department
secretly
impersonating the attending
physician
to
prescribe prescriptions for patients, it
makes
me feel
very very uneasy !
As
patients or potential patients, we
should
stay far
away from these rotten things
and
at least
remain highly vigilant about them.
In fact,
as patients or potential patients,
we
must be
aware that the guys who
always
want to
ruin TCM are medical
professionals,
so, it's
impossible that they cannot
understand
the
importance of objective facts and
actual
therapeutic effects on the development
of
medical
science.
Just when
those guys are trying their
most
to ruin TCM, they
intentionally deny the
importance of objective
facts and actual
therapeutic effects, blur
the boundaries
between
science and technology, and
use a
large number of professional terms
to weave
seemingly correct nonsense to
mislead
patients.
It can be
seen that their such behavior
is
no longer
belong to the scope of
academic
discussion !
Because
their long-term denying a
large
number of
objective facts has already
proven
that what they are discussing
is
not
science at all !
And at
the same time, their
long-term
denying
the actual therapeutic effects
contained in a large
number of objective
facts
has already proven that what they
are
discussing is not medical science at
all
!
At most,
they are professional
paranoia
at the
level of medical technology,
and
their
medical professional
knowledge
is only
enough for themselves to make
a
living.
They are
also limited to learning to
imitate
the
successful work skills of
others.
So, they
can't be considered medical
scientists at all !
From
this, it can be seen that what they
talk
about may
not fall within the scope of
medical
science.
We must
not think that as long as they
are
packaged
in professional terms such as
double-blind trials, their words
belong
to
academic discussions in the field
of
medical
science.
In
fact,it is already polite enough that
we
regard
their such words as
discussions
on
medical technology .
In short,
we should have a rational
understanding of the
relationship
between
science and technology.
Only in
this way can we avoid being
deceived
by some seemingly absurd
theories,
and also avoid being
deceived
by some pseudo
scholars
or
quacks .
