Unnecessary
Sophistry
(
20. Inclusiveness Of Medical Science
)
We should have a basic understanding
of
TCM ( Traditional Chinese
Medicine).
For example, we must evaluate TCM
based
on buth objective facts and actual
therapeutic
effects, and all other arguments, as long
as
no-considering objective facts or
actual
therapeutic effects, are just word games,
so
it is no need for us to believe such kind
of
word games.
Actually, here
is also an issue of inclusiveness .
Specifically,
it means:
As
Chinese people, we should tolerate
some
functional defects in TCM
.
As modern
people, we should tolerate
some
functional defects in western
medicine.
As modern
Chinese, we should tolerate
some
functional defects in both western
medicine
and
TCM, at least
we should tolerate the
functional defects in TCM as much as
we
tolerate western medicine
!
Such a simple
principle has been made
extremely
complicated by a gang of guys
who always want
to ruin TCM !
For example,
when analyzing any treatment
method, those
guys don't care about any
therapeutic
effect of that method, they
first consider where it comes
from western
medicine or
TCM.
Those guys have
prepared enough flowers
for any method
from western medicine, but
only wreaths
for any method from TCM !
As for the efficacy, regardless of
the
effectiveness, they
have enough
professional terminology
to say
and
explain as they want.
In this way,
those guys can boast about
their own professional level,
while slandering
TCM endlessly
for a long time !
They have been
deceiving patients endlessly
without
considering objective facts or
actual
therapeutic
effects in this way, and they have
encountered
almost no resistance.
It is really
strange !
Objectively
speaking, the human body is not
a simple
machine, so it is very difficult for
us to make
everything inside the human
body fully
clear.
Both TCM and
western medicine may have
the possibility
of misjudgment and ineffective
treatment, so
there should be some tolerance
towards
both.
Even if we look
back at history, we can discover
all of these
.
For example, on
March 16, 1926, at Peking
Union Medical College Hospital, Liang
Qichao
underwent kidney removal surgery
and
mistakenly removed a healthy kidney,
resulting
in Liang Qichao's ultimate
death.
However, Liang
Qichao considered that western
medicine at
that time was a new thing and his
own reputation
was great.
If he accused
western medicine, it would have
a negative
impact on the development of
western
medicine in our country.
Therefore, he
tried his best to tolerate these
and told some white lies
.
Although Liang
Qichao's attitude towards TCM
may not be
objective, his spirit of tolerance
towards
western medicine is
indeed admirable.
In fact, there was another liar at that
time.
Mr. Hu Shi
asked a TCM doctor to cure his own
kidney disease,
but he never admitted it and
eventually
became a laughing stock.
Nevertheless,
he still kept to the bottom of
his character.
For example, he
did not accuse that doctor
of
illegally
practicing medicine or abusing
traditional
Chinese medicine.
All of these
prove the following conclusion:
Every Medical
Science requires some kind of
tolerance.
So, we should
have some tolerance towards
both TCM and
western medicine.
The problem now
is that some guys only
tolerate
western medicine without any bottom
line, while
being extremely harsh on TCM.
As long as
there is an opportunity, those
guys will try their most to
ruin TCM , this
is
unfair and not a scientific
attitude.
