Unnecessary
( 15.
Even more, this
professor still said that he could
understand many
classical books, but he couldn't
understand
"Huangdi Neijing" .
Therefore, he accused
only pigs of being able
to
understand that book.
His reasoning
in this way is logically far fetched !
1. A person may
be able to understand many
books, but this
does not necessarily prove that
he can
understand all books.
Actually, he is
likely to come across some book
he doesn't understand at all
!
2. When a
person encounters a book he cannot
understand, it
doesn't mean that he has any
reason to judge
that only pigs can understand
the
book.
Unless he has
proven himself to be the smartest
person in
history, and he also needs to prove
that
no one has ever
understood that book, and no
one will ever
understand that book in the future.
Now, let's give
an analogy:
A student has
finished writing the exam papers,
and except for
the last question, he has answered
all the
questions, which is possible.
But this does
not mean that the student can draw
the following
inference:
"
I can answer all the questions except for
the
last one, so, the last question must be wrong
! "
In fact, there
are many people who can understand
"Huangdi
Neijing" and it has nothing to do
with
such a
professor !
As we know, we
don't need to define our academic
boundaries
based on the limited cognition of
others
!
In fact, if
someone really can't understand "Huangdi
Neijing ", he
can go to a primary school to find a
teacher
for special guidance, for he must first
lay
a solid
foundation for later hard- studying.
But no
matter what, he has no right to say "Only
pig
could read a book " just because he
can't
understand that book himself !
