Unnecessary Sophistry
(
15. Understand Or Not
.1 )
A gang
of pseudo scholars
who always want
to
ruin TCM
(Traditional Chinese Medicine)
have
used a
variety of sophistry techniques, some
of
which may
even appear in pairs, making
it
impossible for ordinary people to
counter.
For example,
about ten years ago, a philosophy
professor was
determined to ruin TCM.
Once, he
publicly stated at a meeting:
"The knowledge of TCM looks
very strange.
(laughs).
If you read "Huangdi
Neijing", it seems to
have been written by someone
from another
planet
(laughs).
People on Earth can't
understand it.
(laughs).
What I mean is, people on
Earth definitely
can't understand it, but I'm
not sure if the
pigs on Earth can understand
it.
And I'm not sure if aliens
can understand
it
either.
(Laughing,
applauding)
Anyway, I can't
understand.
I can understand ancient
documents that
are earlier than it, such as
"The
Analects
Of
Confucius”, "Guoyu", and "the
Book
of
Songs".
I really can't understand
books like TCM
and feng shui. I have been
studying TCM
for quite some time till
now, and my
ability to read ancient
Chinese is stronger
than those "Chinese medicine
experts"
who could only recognize a
few
characters.
I started using TCM for
medical treatment in
1974, but I can't understand
the "Huangdi
Neijing" no matter how to read
it
(Laughter)
Annotations:
meeting venue
In fact, such
words are very despicable, but it
happens to have
two typical academic fraud
behaviors,
which often hide in many academic
discussions,
namely:
DUPU (the
Don't-Understand Pretend to
Understand) and
UIPNU (the Understand
Intentionally
Pretending Not to Understand)
So, it's worth
carefully analyzing such words,
and
I will
specifically discuss this issue in
several articles
later .
