Medical Science Is Not A Sophistry

( 2.Toxicity And Effectiveness Of Medicine.1) 

For a long time, when the gang of pseudo scholars

mentioned the toxicity of medicine, they used two 

standards.

The first standard is for their western medicine, 

according to this standard, only medicine's side 

effects can be discussed, but toxicity cannot be 

mentioned.

 

The second standard  is for our  traditional 

Chinese medicine, according to this standard ,

only  toxicity can be discussed, but side effects 

cannot be mentioned, let alone therapeutic 

effects.

This is a typical sophistry !

Are they discussing  medical science ?

Why can't we talk about therapeutic effects 

when discussing  medical science ?

Why can't we talk about therapeutic effects 

when discussing  traditional Chinese medicine ?

Are they the business representatives from H.e.l.l. ?

They often say that traditional Chinese medicine 

is not only little toxic, but also very toxic.

But,  warfarin , as western medicine, can still be 

used as rodenticide, isn't this  very toxic ? 

And western medicine often uses nitroglycerin 

tablets for emergency treatment of heart 

disease, but nitroglycerin can also be used as 

explosives.

What is the explanation for it ?

 

In fact, both western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine have some toxicity and side effects. 

So, we cannot talk about western medicine by just 

using side effects to cover  its toxicity.

At the same time, we cannot discuss traditional 

Chinese medicine without talking about its 

efficacy, and only say that "Traditional Chinese 

medicine not only has low toxicity, but also 

has high toxicity" to intimidate patients in this 

way.

All these deceptions are irresponsible for patients 

and efficacy!

Because when it comes to medicine, we should 

talk about its efficacy, toxicity, and side effects. 

This is the scientific attitude, and this is the 

responsibility for patients and efficacy.

Till now, we can see that the saying of  'The 

deceptive nature of TCM lies in its therapeutic 

effect' itself is the true deception!

Because no medicine has the right to be exempt 

from toxicity testing, even western medicine strives 

for its efficacy while strictly controlling its toxicity or 

other side effects.

It is very shameless to advocate for those double 

standards on this issue !

So, we must adhere to the First Law of Medical 

Science ! that is:

 

We should discuss science

according to facts , and meanwhile ,

we should discuss  medical science

according to curative effects .

And from it, we can see that :

 

When discussing  medication, we should focus 

on its efficacy and strictly control its toxicity or 

side effects.

 

As doctors, patients, or potential patients, we 

should pay attention to the efficacy of medicine, 

namely:

 

Any kind of medicine, whether traditional Chinese 

medicine or western medicine, as long as the 

treatment is  is indeed effective, even if it is only 

effective for part patients, it is worth referring to 

use.

And if used, it's important to control its toxicity or 

side effects.

After all, the only mission of  medicine is to 

effectively treat diseases, and we don't have 

to notice any sophistry.

So, when we see this kind of sophistry, just 

push it into a dustbin .

Never be confused by it, or will be conquered by it !
