Difficulty of understanding perhaps

means higher scientific value

In my blog post 'Effectiveness is Scientific ' , I propose :

Objectively speaking , sometimes , it may be laborious

and difficult to explain the treatment of our TCM

( Traditional Chinese Medicine ) , let alone

understanding , but as long as the treatment is

effective , it is the absolute value of both application

and scientific research .

Even from this perspective , we can draw two inferences :

The first inference :

Validity is scientificity

This inference has already been proven in my

blogs .

The second one :

Difficulty of understanding perhaps means

higher scientific value

So , this article will discuss this viewpoint .

Objectively speaking , our TCM is often more difficult

to understand than Western medicine .

Because of this , our TCM has long been criticized by

many guys , who even insist that our TCM is not

scientific .

But in fact , it's very unfair to our TCM , and the reason

is also very simple and clear :

1. Carefully examine the scientific theoretical

system , which includes both simple and easy

to understand , as well as many more difficult

to understand .

This indicates that the characteristic of being

easy to understand itself has nothing to do

with scientificity .

For example :

We cannot simply say that the arithmetic operations

of addition , subtraction , multiplication and division

are scientific just because we can understand thses

arithmetic operations .

And at the same time , we cannot say that partial differential equations are unscientific just because

we cannot understand them .

2. In fact , the objective situation may be exactly

the opposite :

Many difficult theories often

have higher scientific value .

Now , let's talk about the previous example again ,

actually , the scientific value of partial differential

equations is much higher than that of elementary

school maths with only the four basic fundamental

operations , such as addition , subtraction ,

multiplication and division .

3. Another cautionary note is :

An Advanced theory can be learned in

five minutes may be a scam

And more , we should recognize that some

ways of thinking are indeed very simple so that it

can be described using formal logic , which is

beneficial for machine to implement , but this is

only the preliminary stage of artificial intelligence .

But there are other ways of thinking , such as

fables , metaphors , analogies , and even sophistry ,

are all important ways of thinking for humans and

cannot be denied simply because machines cannot

achieve them at present !

In fact , these types of thinking mode are the

advanced thinking modes , so , these thinking mode

must be learnt by the future artificial intelligence .

So , at last , we can understand that it is purely

irresponsible nonsense to say that our TCM is not

scientific just because our TCM is not easy to

understand ! And the essence of such nonsense is

anti-intellectual !
