看过韦伯的五十寿辰演唱会DVD的人，有首歌绝对难以忘怀，Michael Ball唱的《Gethsemane》。选自韦伯的成名作《耶稣万世巨星》。这部剧的内容懒得介绍了，自己去Google即可。喜欢音乐剧的昵称Michael Ball叫做“球”。球擅长扮演深情款款的人物。从来没有接受过声乐训练，也不想接受，怕坏了自己的天赋。耶稣原来不是他的调调儿。但是，因为这首歌被成为男声的试金石，估计也技痒难耐吧。这个版本听到最后，周身毛发直立，实在是够爽。

因为《Gethsemane》是耶稣在预知自己被钉上十字架上之前对上帝发出的质问，奶奶的，为什么我就该死？给个理由先！因此，还是假声嘶吼摇滚派更得真味。这是Steve Balsamo 的版本。不得不承认，他比我非常喜欢的“球”还要震撼。

这个版本非常适合花痴观赏。堪称最帅的耶稣，只是略显柔弱。还可以在电骡上找到全剧。倘若因为《Gethsemane》这一斑发生兴趣，想窥个全豹，那就去下载吧。既好听又养眼。非常值得。
