Nongkhai is such a lovely and peaceful small town. i like to jogging or cycling alone the Mekong river, sometimes just sitting down near the river, watching the other side the river, that's laos, another country, one of the most poorest countries in the world.

 

i bet i will leave for laos next week, for the other side of the Mekong river.....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

the stone in almost the middle of Mekong river is actually the top of a temple, it's said that the temple slipped into the river in 19 centries, and now almost the middle of the river. i am lucky since it only can be seen in the dry season ...

 

people in Nongkhai build a new temple for memberizing the ancient temple in the river.

 

 

 

 

at the other side, it is laos.....
