How wonderful it would be if we were in a world in which everyone tells the truth. No cheating, no deceit, no disloyalty, no unfaith; everyone is telling the truth, the whole truth, nothing but truth. Isn’t it amazing? Isn’t it just the world set by God, the heavenly father?

But wait! If we think it a little bit further, the supposed world is far from perfection. For example, will one happy when he/she meets someone else saying “I am not particularly glad to meet you, actually there is no difference in seeing you or not” despite the fact that he really thinks so? Or, in an other example, are you still in your mood when your friends tell you that it is an most awful dinner they have ever had after you have prepared it for the whole day although they are telling the truth? Furthermore, do you think it is ethical to tell your beloved relative, who has just been diagnosed as lethal cancer bearer, the true by which he could die immediately as a mental trauma?

Actually, it’s not always better to tell the truth than lying. What I want to advocate is that one should only lie with good intention.
