沸沸扬扬的<中国取消空客百亿美元订单>的新闻【1】传遍大江南北，我一看到这个新闻感觉挺重大的，想看看国际媒体的反应，就用英文谷歌去搜了下，结果都是几天前的新闻，当时就奇怪，今天发现却是个“翻译错误”【2】，并不是取消订单，而是延迟签署订单。还烦劳外交部出面澄清【3】。很多网友的情绪也因此颇为大起大落。
其实，我看了一下，新闻的正文部分还是忠实的翻出了愿意，但为什么会造成这样的误解，主要是标题为了震撼，而故意采用了“取消订单”这个说法，殊不知，这样就是违反合同法的行为了。而原报道只不过是推迟签署正在协商中的订单，不涉及法律问题，只是商业行为。
看来并不是英文水平问题。

从上下文来看，应该是“你们这些孩子对美国一点都不了解，是不是？”这个squat倒是很难理解，字面上说是蹲着的意思，但蹲着和整句的意思怎样联系起来缺颇为费解。
看来这里是个俚语，使用google大法，还真发现很多这样的用法。经过仔细寻找终于找到在一个俚语网站【1】上得到了这个俚语的来历。
原来，意思还是从“蹲着”引申的，蹲着引申上厕所，引申为shit,
所以常常是shit的委婉语，shit又经常有nothing的意思，那么you don't know squat就等于you don't know
nothing了，就是你什么都不知道。
那么这篇文章的标题又是什么意思呢？两个squat意思一样吗？还是不同的意思？其实，这是一

朋友推荐美国的动画片南方公园，背景是美国的一所小学，四个小朋友和老师、家长和社会之间发生的故事，虽然讲的是小朋友，但目标观众应该是成人，因为语言explicit,内容紧跟社会热点现象，针砭时政。语速很快，适合训练语感。对于英语学习者来说，推荐不带字幕看一遍，然后看着字幕听一遍，查查字典。
