2011年7月27日，前往吐鲁番葡萄沟参观。吐鲁番的葡萄沟位于吐鲁番市东北，隶属于吐鲁番市吐鲁番县城东北15公里的葡萄乡，距城市中心10公里，海拔300米。葡萄沟系火焰山西侧的一个峡谷，南北长8公里，东西宽0.6－2公里，沟谷狭长平缓。沟谷西岸，悬崖对峙，崖壁陡峭，犹如屏蟑。沟内，溪流环绕，水质纯净。吐鲁番的夏天非常热，8月基本上每天的气温都在42℃以上，火焰山的地面温度可以达到80至90度。但在葡萄沟溪流两侧，葡萄架遍布，葡萄藤蔓层层叠叠，绿意葱葱。葡萄沟俨然成为吐鲁番的“桃花源”。

　　葡萄沟数条葡萄长廊深邃、幽静，以盛产优质葡萄而闻名中外。这里主要种植无核白葡萄，还有马奶子、红葡萄、喀什哈尔、日加干、琐琐等 13个品种。无核白葡萄、皮薄、肉嫩、多汁、味美，营养丰富，素有“珍珠”美称，其含糖量高达20－24%，超过美国加利福尼亚州的葡萄，居世界之冠。用无核白鲜葡萄晾制的葡萄干，含糖量高达60%，被人们视为葡萄中的珍品。
