第一天開示,仁波切分析了幸叩亩x -- 我們追求的到底是什麼樣的幸撸

有兩種幸撸 Material luck 物質追求方面的幸撸灰约癝piritual Luck 精神追求方面的幸摺

"We need to determine what kind of luck you are craving for. If you are craving for material luck, then it is like once in a blue moon. It may happen; it may not happen. Even if you lucky materially, we cannot be sure that you will be happy because you are lucky materially."
如果追求祈願的物質方面的幸撸呐履愕玫搅耍覀円瞾K不肯定你會快樂 -- 因為人對物質的貪求永無止境。

”If you are aspiring for something spiritual, for example, aspiring to be enlightened, it is highly possible/achievable."
而你如果追求祈願的是精神方面的幸撸热缱C悟,那麼這是相當有可能達到和實現的。

"What is the definition of luck in Buddhism? Anything that takes you to the truth."
佛法如何定義幸撸咳魏文茏屇憬咏胬淼氖虑椋褪切疫。

在確定了我們要討論的,是如何積累精神生活中的幸咧幔什ㄇ星搬峄撕荛L時間,來詳細闡述自信心的重要,分析我們的不安全感來自何處。 -- 對我來說,這是跟出離心一樣,同等重要的一個開示。

“You will notice that luck and confidence enhance, strengthen each other. The more confident you are, the more luck you have; the more luck you have, the more confident you are.”

不斷增長的信心,也必定帶來更多的幸撸唤吁喽鴣淼男疫,也必定讓人信心倍增。

那麼,信心從何而來呢?

"Confidence is based on knowing the truth; confidence is based on understanding the truth." 信心來自與對真相的了知。

除此之外我們別無他路。

大多數人是在試圖從何建立信心呢? “I am powerful" "I am beautiful" "I am rich" "...size of the car, size of the TV, ...."

”All the other references change day by day, we cannot trust any of them. We cannot trust any of them. We cannot develop confidence on them."
然而所有這些,權力,金錢,美貌,。。。所有物質世界的一切,都是無常的,如同天氣一樣,每天都在變化的,我們最終無法信任這裡面任何一樣東西,我們無法以其中任何一樣為基礎建立我們的信心。

如果這些都是靠不住的,那麼到底我們的信心應該從何而來呢?

"According to Buddha, there is no such thing called unlucky person. The luck/merit is there all the time; it just needs to come out. Every being has the equal potential. No one has less than others. This basic understanding is very important.”
對於佛陀來說,沒有任何人是所謂的“不幸的人”。 所謂的幸撸螅鼜膩砭驮谀茄e,它只是需要被發現。每一個眾生都有同等的,無二無別的潛力。 我们内心的潜力谁也不比谁少。这个基本的理解,对于建立起自信,破除不安全感来说,至关重要。

“Finding, getting luck is to discover what you already have. Practicing Buddhism is not to get something that you do not have. It is to actualize/realize/discover what you already have. The full realization/discovery of what you innately have, is called enlightenment. This makes the Buddhist path different from other path. Every being by nature is Buddha. You just need to discover it. That is the ultimate merit, ultimate luck that is always there. It is like the family treasure you own, so deep in you that you could count on it even when situation goes crazy. This truth is the basis of all the luck."
尋 找,得到幸撸瑢嵸|是去找到你本來就有的東西。学佛不是希求得到你本来没有的某个东西,而是去实现/认识/发现你本来就有的东西。 完全地认清发现自己的本性,明心见性,就是证悟。這就是把佛教徒所走的道路跟其他灵修者走的道路区别开来所在。眾生皆佛,你只是需要去發現它。這才是我們 最究竟的福報,最根本的幸摺_@是你根本就擁有的財富,無論生活中發生什麼事情哪怕天翻地覆,你都可以依靠它。這個真相是幸叩暮诵摹

One thing you can be confident about, one thing that does not change, cannot be taken away: your Buddha nature."
有一樣東西你是可以堅信不疑的,有一樣東西是永恆不變的,有一樣東西是哪怕死亡也帶不走的,那就是你的佛性。

"We will go through good time, bad time, miserable time in life. That is for sure. But keep that confidence that you've got one thing to count on. That confidence brings luck."
我們一生中注定起起伏伏,會有好的時光,也會有悲慘時光,這是必定無疑的。但是你要堅信你恆時有一樣東西可以依靠,這樣的信心會給你帶來幸摺

“Everything you plan, you wish for, may never come true, or fall apart. But if you develop an attitude of "so what? I still have the Buddha nature", then that is already luck."
我們所計劃的,所期盼的那些東西也許永遠也不會實現,或者得到了又會再度失去所有,但是只要你能對你的佛性升起並且保有信心,哪怕一切都分崩離析中只要你有那種“那又怎麼樣,我還有我的佛性”的態度,那麼,你就已經是個無比幸叩娜恕

”It is not easy to develop and maintain such confidence. To begin, we need to deal with our insecurity."
然而要升起並且保有這樣的信心並不容易,為什麼呢?因為我們首先需要面對內心深處的不安全感。

“Our insecurity is based on a ridiculous assumption of looking into dillusion, and thinking it is real."
我們的不安全感是從哪裡來的呢?我們的不安全感來自與一個荒謬的假設 -- 我們錯把虛幻的東西當成是真實的。

"Once you develop that, you are bounded to be disappointed."
一旦你這樣做了,那麼你注定會失望。

"We do not encounter conditions in which you are told 'dillusion is a dillusion'. Instead, we encounter conditions to force us to think dillusin is real. "
我們碰到的所有情景,從來不會告訴我們“這只是幻相這只是幻相”;我們遭遇的一切,都是在促使我們把幻相當真。

"Everything forces us to think dillusion is not dillusion. It makes one's insecurity gets more and more; it makes us more and more dependent on material things.
每件事情都在促使我們認為幻相不是幻相,是真實,而其結果,就是讓我們內心的不安全感與日俱增,讓我們越來越依賴物質生活。

“Very ridiculous...thinking dillusion is real. That is why we care about what is the tallest building in the world, size of penis...."
這是極其荒謬的一件事情,所以我們才會在這個世界看到很多荒謬的現象,人們追逐一些荒謬的東西,比如關心那活兒的大小,比如爭相修建”世界最高的建築”。。。

在娛樂了聽眾之後,仁波切回到主題: “We need confidence to develop luck. Not easy, because we have the habit of falling into the game of insecurity. We need to have the base of real confidence: everyone of us has the same, equal base! All our downfalls are purifiable, destroyable."
我們需要有信心來積累我們精神生活中的幸摺_@不是一件容易的事情,因為我們習慣性就會摔到不安全感的遊戲裡面去。我們需要建立真正自信心的基礎: 了知每個人都是無二無別的!我們的所有的業障都是可以被清靜和摧毀的。

最後一天,仁波切再度提醒我們:
“If you have the ice cube, you don't need to look for water. Give it time, it will melt. Your mind is the Buddha. You just need to melt it. But most of the time, we are busy freezing it."
如果你有了冰塊,那麼你不用去尋找水。假以時日,冰會化成水。佛就在你的心中,你只是需要讓冰融化而已。然而大部分的時候,我們只是在忙着把水凍結成冰。

跟信心相關,仁波切還闡述了修習覺知的重要。

"Why are we unluck? What makes us lose confidence? Because we don't contemplate on ourselves enough.”
我們為何不走撸渴鞘颤N讓我們喪失自信?-- 因為我們對自己的心缺乏覺知。

“The wisdom of contemplation alone is a great contribution Buddhism provides the world."
單單禪修的智慧這一項就是佛法對世界偉大的一個貢獻。

"Why do we say that? It is like an old friend you really miss. You have been searching for him for a long long time. Suddenly, in the most unlikely place, you meet this person. You have such joy meeting this old friend. -- That is what is like for us. We have lost our mind for a long time. The mind is an old friend of us. It has not gone far; it is right next to us. But you have lost it. That is what we need to recognize."
為 什麼這麼說呢? 好比你跟一個老友失去了聯繫,你非常思念他,你四處尋覓他,突然,在一個最不可能的地方,你看到了他,那是何等滿心歡喜的感覺。-- 我們已經迷失了我們的心太久;我們的心就是那個我們思念的老友。他其實從未遠離,他就在我們身邊,然而我們竟然就這樣把他弄丟了。這是我們需要明白的事 情。

我們為何不走撸渴鞘颤N讓我們喪失自信?-- 因為我們對自己的心缺乏覺知。我們已經喪失我們的心性太久太久。然而它從未遠離,它一直就在我們身邊。

“Mind needs to be relaxed. In order for mind to be relaxed, it needs to concentrate; to be inside of the body. That is why we need to begin mindfullness."
我們的心需要放鬆。內心要達到放鬆狀態,需要的是專注。這就是為什麼我們需要培養覺知。

那麼覺知的練習是什麼呢?

“Most of the time, we are not concentrating on our mind. (In order to do it, we need to)Purely, simply watching what the mind is doing. Not asking why, not asking how. Just watching. When you are asking why and/or how, you are not concentrating, you are analyzing, you are distracted. ”
很多時候,我們的心都不專注。要練習覺知,我們需要單純地觀想我們的心。不要問為什麼不要問如何,只是觀想。以為只要你在問為什麼問如何,你就沒有專注,你就在分析,你就是散亂的。

"Many practitioner find that when they contemplate, their mind is like a fertile ground in summer time. Anythng is possible to grow. Sometimes they find guilty if it is a bad thought. That is NOT contemplate. Sometimes good thoughts come out, they are excited. Again, that is NOT contemplate. Contemplate is purely watching."
很多修行者發現當他們內觀禪修時,他們的心就像夏天肥沃的土壤,任何東西都有可能冒出來。當一個壞的念頭冒出來時,他們就有負罪心 -- 這,不是禪修。當好的念頭冒出來時,他們心生歡喜。-- 這,不是禪修。禪修只是單純地(不帶任何主觀評判地)觀看。

Why do we need to practice contemplation? If you continue to contemplate, it reduces and eventually destroys all traces of distractions. An undistracted person is a confident person. A confident person is a lucky person. Because nothing goes wrong; everything goes right. That is luck."
我們為什麼需要禪修? 如果你堅持禪修,你會減少最終摧毀散亂。一個內心不再散亂的人會是一個充滿信心的人;而一個充滿自信的人是一個幸叩娜恕R驗橐磺卸紩在正確的軌道上咝 -- 這就是幸摺
