Last Saturday, the "Idea Exchange" event was a big success!                                                         

We 9 speakers received a lot of laughters, applause, curious questions, and positive feedback.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        My topic was “How to Live Your 'China Life' Happier”. The organizer Glen and a few audience told me afterwards: “I think all the foreigner in China should listen to this presentation.”  

I myself learned so much from other speakers about economy development, coolest IT trend, creative writing, and so on.     

But the most important part is this group of PEOPLE - different countries, different backgrounds, different careers, different ages, but same fun, same passionate, same friendly, same relaxed, and same genuine!   

This group shines!   

This is my 1st time giving a public speech in English. It's like TED style. Each of us had only 8-10 minutes. I was a bit nervous at the beginning. The microphone ran out of battery after I just started. Thank God, it was a small room with just 90 people. I took a deep breath, smiled, and then everything just went smoothly.

上周六的"Idea Exchange"取得了巨大的成功！

包括我在内的九个演讲人收获了很多的欢笑、掌声、好奇的问题、和正面的反馈。我演讲的主题是： “如何让你的‘中国生活’更快乐”。组织者Glen和很多观众告诉我：“所有在中国生活的外国人都应该来听听！” 

我也从其他演讲者那里学到非常多的知识：比如经济发展趋势、最潮最酷的IT界信息，创意写作等。 

最最重要的，是这次的演讲者们！我们来自不同国家，不同背景，不同职业，不同年龄层，不过一样的有趣，一样的有激情，一样的友好，一样的放松，一样的诚恳！ 

这群人很有光芒！

这是我第一次纯英文公众演讲。这次的活动和TED的形式基本一样，每个人有8-10分钟时间。我开始有点紧张，刚开始没一分钟，麦克风又出了问题。感谢上帝，这是个不大的场地，一共装了90多人。我深呼吸了一下，微笑。接下来，后面的内容行云流水，一气呵成！
