Percy Jackson 续集:My Sky

作者:Julia Yang

妈妈(编者)按:

上周五的好声音,让小朋友瞬间爱上《我的天空》这首歌,并且因此而了灵感,为Percy Jackson 写起了续集,同时跟我说一定会写下去Percy Jackson 续集:My Sky

再见我的爱/I Wanna Say Goodbye/再见我的过去/I Want a New Life/再见我的眼泪跌倒和失败/再见那个年少轻狂的时代/再见的的烦恼 不再孤单/再见我的懦弱 不再哭喊/Now I wanna say/Hello Hello/我的未来

Leo Valdez turned off Festus’ in-built radio. This Chinese song totally rocked. Why not? It was wild, crazy, and a little bit sad.

It was, in other words, like his life.

Behind him, Calypso sighed in relief, “How do you people stand this……rock and roll music? It’s destruction to the ears.”

“For you, Sunshine.”

“Gee, thanks but I still like my songs better.”

He didn’t answer, just punched a button on Festus. The metal plating on its back slid open to reveal a screen the size of an average IPAD. Not that Leo ever owned one, having come from a relatively poor family.

Calypso leaned over his shoulder. “Is this a……Global Positioning System?”

“Yep,” Leo zoomed out until he was looking at planet Earth from a satellite. He zoomed into America, where two red dots were pulsing, one on each side of the country.

“Are those the camps?” Calypso asked.

“Mmm.”

“So,” she paused, “Where do you think” Pause again, “Percy is?”

He stared at her. Calypso hadn’t talked about Percy ever since he told her about their adventures. Or Annabeth. When Leo talked about the Argo II crew he said “Jason, Percy and the whole lot”.

Calypso said “The Seven”. She seemed to be intentionally avoiding their names. She hadn’t shown any affection toward Percy up till now.

Did she still……like him?

Calypso seemed to be reading his thoughts. Holy Hera, there was no use hiding anything from that girl. She’d find out sooner or later.

In this case, it was sooner.

“Nothing private,” she said. “Nothing I can’t tell you.” And she kissed him just to prove it.

“Well……” Leo got a close-up of Camp Half-Blood. No Percy.

“He’s not home.” Home. The word made him sadder than ever. The last time he had one…….It felt like centuries.

Wait.

Centuries?

All the blood went to his head. He panicked. Ogygia made time slower for them. What…...what if it really had been centuries? This could be a whole new era of unknown. Aliens could be ruling now for all he knew. Nuclear force could have destroyed the whole place. Monsters might’ve overrun the world. The Titans or Gaea or some other evil force could have turned the planet into a barren wasteland.

Above all those, his friends were almost certainly dead. Maybe the auxilia armies killed them on the first of August who knew how many years ago. They might be killed by the new evil force. Or they could just die of old age.

Dead. Jason, Piper, Hazel, Frank, Annabeth, and Percy. Coach Hedge, Nico, Nyssa, Harley, Jake Mason, everyone. Maybe even the gods.

No. he could not lose all of them, any of them. They were his family, his world. He couldn’t live without them. Not with the conscience that he should’ve stayed, gone back with Jason and Piper when he could, to return, to help them. But they’d be killed anyway. He was alone in a world, with no one he knew save Calypso. Sure, she was great, though he wondered if even she could heal the wound in his heart if they died.

No.

“No,” he said out loud. “It can’t be like that. Gods of Olympus, don’t let it. I won’t let it.”

“Let what?” Calypso looked curious.

Why wasn’t she worried? After all, she had loved Percy.

Then he saw the date on his GPS. August thirteenth. It was the same year. Thank the gods. So they weren’t dead. This meant they’d be searching for him.

“Leo?”

“It’s just some vision. Side effects from that physician’s cure. Nothing big.”

Calypso didn’t look convinced, but she nodded and said nothing.

She’d find out sooner or later. He hoped it would be later.
