纸牌预测：刘翔在伦敦奥运会是否能夺冠？

Liu Xiang

Liu Xiang (July 13, 1983 - 2¨/4§) is a Chinese super star and a cultural icon. He is the first Chinese athlete to achieve the "triple crown" of athletics: World Record Holder, World Champion and Olympic Champion. He was the favorite to win another gold in the 110 meter hurdles at the Beijing Olympics but much to the dismay of his fans, he had to withdraw from competition at the last moment after a false start and aggravation to a previously unrevealed injury. This was a big letdown for the Chinese people since he was one of their super stars that everyone really thought would win.

Liu, being a Cancer 2¨, is actually a sensitive person who is very hard on himself. I am sure that he beat himself up the most after he had to drop out of the 2008 race. I would guess that he is shy and quiet His 4§ Planetary Ruling card tells us that he has a lot of perfectionist tendencies. 4§  is the Virgo card of the deck and so it is no surprise that both the Moon and Venus were in Virgo at Liu's birth. Virgo is also a health sign and we find that 4§ people often have health related occurrences throughout their life. Liu has had health as a companion in his sports history for a while now and it will continue to be so. For Liu, managing his emotional and physical stress is the key. His emotions play a large role in his health condition and the opposite is true as well.

Being a Two, you would think Liu would be very relationship oriented. He has chosen to focus all of his relationship energy on his coach, Haiping Sun, born on Jan 13, 1955 - Aª/9§. Haiping and Liu share a strong Neptune relationship. It can be said that Haiping holds the vision of Liu's greatness and that this vision carries them forward to greater and greater success. The Summer Olympics always occur in Liu Xiang's Mercury period, the first period of the year, right after his birthday. Thus, Mercury becomes an important indicator for him. At that time he had a 5¨/Qª in his Mercury period along with an 8©/6ª in his Planetary Ruling card spread. These cards are not so bad, though the 5¨ can often represent an unexpected change. On August 18th, it was his Uranus day of the week, the day that unexpected things occur, also known as the day that expectations meet with unforeseen reversals. And he had an Aª as one of his main cards that day. I don't think he saw this reversal coming at all.

This year, Liu's cards are better somewhat. He has the 6ª/4¨ and J¨/10ª in Mercury. Just judging by these alone, I would say that Liu will be happy with his results. We have to remember that whatever cards we see in someone's spreads, it does actually indicate what happens, but indicates how that person is experiencing what is happening. Someone could actually lose and still have good cards, if they secretly wanted to lose. The good news this year is that Liu is competing on the 7th and 8th of August and these are his Neptune and Mercury days. He has double Sixes on the 7th. Sixes can go either way, depending upon our past actions. I would say, with all his preparation, that these will cause positive results. Likewise, his cards on the day of the finals are good and it is his Mercury day. Thus, it appears that Liu Xiang will win this year.

I also predict that we will see Liu Xiang start dating this year and that by his next birthday, he will have a steady girlfriend. Marriage may follow but that is not certain at this point.
