　　李白（701－762），字太白，号青莲居士，唐代伟大诗人。他在诗歌中热烈歌唱进步的社会理想，表示了对黑暗统治势力的极大轻蔑；他善于以豪迈的笔墨绘祖国壮丽山河，写了许多想象丰富、气势奔放的优秀诗篇。在我国古代诗歌发展史上，李白达到了浪漫主义艺术的顶峰。“诗仙”，是人们对他的美称。

1.庐山——在江西省九江市南，自古以来就是浏览胜地。

2.香炉——炉山西北部一座高峰的名字。

3. 紫烟——山上水气在阳光照射下形成的紫色烟雾。

4. 前川——山前面的河水。

5. 银河——天河。

6.九天——天空最高处。

　　这首七绝，描写庐山瀑布的壮观。首句写阳光灿烂、紫烟缭绕的香炉峰，算是铺设背景；然粕刻画瀑布的形象：

　　“瀑布挂前川”，写瀑布从山顶直垂下来，就像悬挂在山前河道的上空一样；“飞流直下”，写瀑布的水流迅猛如飞，一泻到底；“三千尺”，夸张地说香炉峰高，瀑布水长；“银河落九天”，用天河落地的奇特想象，比喻瀑布的壮丽形象和雄伟气势，读起来仿佛看见那银白耀眼的光泽，听到那惊心动魄的轰响。从“遥看”到“疑是”，由见景而生情，使人感受到诗人欣赏瀑布时的兴奋和喜悦：啊，我当是银河从天上跌下来啦！

　　这首山水小诗，写得有声有色，情景交融，深深地激发着人们对庐山风光的向往和祖国山河的热爱；而庐山瀑布，它的形象也随同这首诗，宛如天上皎洁明亮的银河，在作者眼前闪闪发光，永不消逝。


  Li Bai described,in this short poem entitled"Waterfall",the splendid view of the waterfall at Lushan Mountain,a tourist resort in Jiujiang City,Jiangxi Province.

  In his creative verses,readers may see a wonderful picture of nature.The Incense-Burner crowned with a purple haze was ashimmering in the sunlight rays.Gazing from a distance,you may imagine that the waterfall was hanging from the mountain overthe river below.The waterfall was pouring down for three three thousand feet as if the Milky Way was tumbling from the high heavens.

  This short poem of remarkable auality always arouses deep love for the scenic Lushan Mountain and charming landscape of the homeland.
