next+以现在为标准的时间-即当谈到紧接着眼前这一周\这一月\这一年的下一周\下一月\下一年.

the next+以过去或将来为标准的时间-即当谈到紧接过去或将来的某一周\某一月\某一年的下一周\下一月\下一年.
eg:The forign guests spend the first week in Beijing and the next week in Shanghai.

next用于一般将来时
例如：I will go to the park next day.

the next用于过去将来时
例如：I would go to the park the next day. THE NEXT DAY应该用于过去将来时..
NEXT DAY一般将来时.
THE FOLLOWING DAY用于两种时态. one day和some day在表示将来的某一天时，意思一样，但some day不能表示过去的某一天one day“某一天，有一天”既可用于一般过去时，也可用于一般将来时
someday/some day“某一天”常用于一般将来时。可以和one day互换。

One day, a stranger came to my house.     （指过去的一天，用过去时。）

I will achieve my dream one day.  某天我会实现梦想的。 （指将来，用将来时）

We’ll beat them someday. 有朝一日我们会打败他们的。

I’m sure I can win someday. 我确信某天我会嬴。

one day和some day在表示将来的某一天时，意思一样，但some day不能表示过去的某一天；one day比较确定，而some day比较含糊。e．g．

I want to be a teacher one day．

（将来的）某一天我要当老师。（一定要当老师）

He wants to be a teacher some day．

（将来的）某一天他想当老师。（不见得能当老师）
