As expected, 04 is a relatively light vintage for 'Les Chetillons', more for elegance & finesse than for substance or structure.

Intense, precise scents of rock candy, crystalline pear & chalk, rounded off by a hint of honey.

Crisp, palate-staining flavors of rock candy, crushed chalk, crystalline pear & citrus on the attack, followed by stony clarity of green apple and finished with serious notes of iodine.

Racy, taut & precise, like cut diamonds.

Thanks to the firm acidity, it surely can age. But in view there is not much extract in store, I'd rather enjoy this light vintage now (with classy precision & exciting tension still intact) than cellar it for softened mellowness.
