昨天跟大家談到冰架逐步溶化的問題,
怎料到原來地球大洋中的溫暖海水循環失控,
又會有機會最終把地球退回冰河時期!
簡單來說,就是海水的鹽度影響冷熱平衡,
溫暖海水會由熱帶流向兩極,
而較冷且密度較高的海水則由兩極流回熱帶,
但若因冰架融化過快,水因附近河流改道、
降雨型態改變而注入大量淡水,使得海水鹽度降低,
便會令循環無法形成下停止,循環系統若減弱或停止,
氣候勢必失控,因此氣候變暖使冰原融化,令海水淡化,
從而令洋流糸統變弱,又會令地球出現冰河時期,
大自然的奧秘真是奇妙!
亦遠超我們想像。
