优质食品和人类健康: 挑战和解决方案

也许你经常会有这样的疑问"高钙食品??  其它的成分怎么样?"  "高蛋白??  胆固醇高吗??".

11月8号, 一个特别的科学研讨会<优质食品和人类健康: 挑战和解决方案>在北京翔达国际商务酒店召开, 226个与会者来自科学界\教育界\工业界和媒体, 参加者也包括了南非\瑞士\法国\美国\荷兰等国家的专家和演讲者.

大会集中讨论科学上如何辨认和评价"优质食品" ,  真正的"优质食品" 又如何让百姓认识和明白.

 

下面是我在会议论文的前言和开幕词部分内容.

引言:食物营养素度量(nutrient profiling)是基于多种营养素含量评价食物优劣的一个方法,目前被食品法规、食品标签、健康声称、市场和儿童广告等多种用途所青睐。目前,科学界、法规制定部门和食品工业界已经发展了多种营养素度量模型,这些模型集中研究对健康来说需要限制性营养素和强调性营养素的选择上,无论如何,营养素度量模型常常被剪裁、修改已符合即定目标,但指标选择、研究制定程序和数学模型发展过程应该基于公共健康问题和一致的科学基础的。

 本次会议由中国CDC营养与食品安全所和中国营养学会营养与保健食品分会主办,主要目标是在学术水平上研究和讨论NP模型概念以及应用前景,会议邀请演讲者包括了一些先进企业经验和方法介绍,并力求综合吸纳、探讨其应用价值和科学意义。

      Academic  Workshop on Nutrient Profiling 

 

 Preface :  Nutrient profiling of foods, described as the science of ranking foods based on their nutrient content, is fast becoming the basis for regulating nutrition labels, health claims, and marketing and advertising to children. A number of nutrient profile models have now been developed by research scientists, regulatory agencies, and by the food industry. Whereas some of these models have focused on nutrients to limit, others have emphasized nutrients known to be beneficial to health, or some combination of both. Although nutrient profile models are often tailored to specific goals, the development process ought to follow the same science-driven rules.  

The aim of the workshop was to study and discuss the NP model and consumer communication  on academic level  organized by  National Institute of Nutrition and Food Safety, Committee of Nutrition and Functional Food,Chinese Nutrition Society. The presentation invited including the speakers from industries, and to explore wider scientific aspects of nutrient profiling. In particular, the focus of the workshop was on scientific approaches to the development of nutrient profiles for the purpose of regulating nutrition and health claims in research group.
